The Town of Cochrane is committed to ensuring our residents have a sustainable quality of life through access to effective programs and services that meet their social, recreational and health needs.
The Cochrane Cares: Regional Well-being Review provides residents with a variety of opportunities to tell their story and share their experience of living in Cochrane, including online surveys, community events, sounding boards, and targeted focus groups.
The overall goal is to produce an assessment for the Town of Cochrane.
The Cochrane Cares review takes place between February and April 2017. The findings will help the Town determine priorities, make decisions and monitor and evaluate outcomes over the next four years.
The survey is open to Town of Cochrane, M.D. of Bighorn and Western Rocky View County residents.
What is this purpose of the review?
The Cochrane Cares review is designed to engage you in identifying current assets, gaps, opportunities and priorities with regard to your social, recreational and health needs. The overall goal is to produce a comprehensive Assessment for use by the Town of Cochrane to inform decisions over the next several years.
Why should I care about the review?
Findings from the review will help the Town determine priorities, make decisions and monitor and evaluate outcomes over the next four years. Findings will also guide Town Council, Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) and community groups in making decisions regarding allocation of resources. Make sure your needs are made known.
Where do I come in?
The review provides you with a variety of opportunities to tell your story and share your experience of living in Cochrane and area through online surveys, community events, sounding boards, and targeted focus groups. The process engages you in conversations about your needs related to the social, recreational and health services and amenities here in Cochrane.
