The Town of Cochrane will provide guidelines for the investment of municipal funds, at the highest possible rate of return and within the confines of Section 250 of the Municipal Government Act, Statues of Alberta 2000, Chapter M-26. Particular attention must be given to the municipality’s financial obligations, liquidity requirements and the objectives of preservation of principal.
