Centre Ave will open for traffic between Griffin Road and Railway
Street starting 7 am, Fri Jun 7. Landscaping, sidewalks and final
asphalt work will take place over the summer. |

The Town has hired E2K engineering to conduct a geotechnical investigation in the green space northeast of Carolina Drive starting May 1. The work will not interfere with traffic in that area, but will be visible from the road.

2013 East End Street Improvement Project
Proposed work is tentatively scheduled from May to September 2013.
Pproposed upgrades will proceed if tender submissions are within the approved budget from Council. The Town of Cochrane will be receiving submissions mid-March and awarding the contract in late March pending budget.
Ross Ave: replace water and sanitary mains, replace sections of curb and gutter, repave streets.
Powell St (between Ross and Pope): replace water and sanitary mains, replace sections of curb and gutter, install sidewalk on north side of Powell, repave street.
Benchlands Dr, Benchlands Pl: replace water and sanitary main, replace storm main (Benchlands Dr only), replace damaged sections of curb and gutter, replace damaged sections of sidewalk, repave street.

Construction of the staircase replacement at the Men of Vision statue has commenced with completion in the summer of 2013. Please be aware of construction equipment and use pathway cautiously. |

East End Pathway Connection |
Currently permits are being acquired and then tenders will be received and reviewed and the contract awarded. We expect to start construction on the pathway connection by late spring/early summer and complete the project this summer. The CPR crossing is now complete. |

Pathway Extension between Glen Haven and Glen Summit |
Construction of the pathway extension is scheduled to begin May 6 (weather permitting). |
