(Cochrane, AB) – Nominations are now open for the 2023 Order of Cochrane, the highest honour that can be bestowed upon an individual by Cochrane Council.
The annual award, presented by Mayor and Council, celebrates individuals whose unwavering commitment, visionary spirit and exemplary leadership have left an indelible mark on the community's development.
"Cochrane's enduring success owes much to the tireless dedication of our community champions," says Susan Flowers, Deputy Mayor, Town of Cochrane. “Each day, these individuals selflessly devote themselves to advancing our shared vision, igniting a spirit of resilience and unity that propels Cochrane forward.”
Nominating a deserving individual is straightforward. Nominators are invited to complete either an online or hardcopy nomination form, articulating how the nominee embodies Cochrane's vision, demonstrates exceptional leadership and has significantly contributed to the Cochrane’s enduring legacy. The nomination deadline is March 28, 2024.
The award will be presented at a meeting of Cochrane Council later in 2024.
