(Cochrane, AB) – All entrepreneurs have a great business idea. Successful entrepreneurs have help getting their business started. Cochrane Business Development is launching SMARTstart program in 2024 to help local entrepreneurs turn their ideas into successful businesses.
Applications are now available for the upcoming SMARTstart Cochrane session beginning on March 25, 2024.
“This eight-month program is designed to equip entrepreneurs with essential skills, valuable insights, and personalized mentoring to set their businesses on the path to success,” says Mike Korman, Manager of Business Development, Town of Cochrane. “Whether its learning to launch an idea or navigating the first years of operating a business, SMARTstart supports entrepreneurs to learn valuable skills through learning, mentoring and plan creation.”
Entrepreneur applications for the SMARTstart program are open until February 16, 2024. Entrepreneurs can apply for this transformative program at smartstartyourbusiness.ca/community/cochrane. The program fee is $300.
To complement in-person and online training, Cochrane Business Development is seeking enthusiastic and experienced business owners to serve as mentors for the 2024 Cohort. Interested mentors can apply by filling out the Mentor Application Form, accessible at smartstartyourbusiness.ca/community/cochrane.
