Civil Land Development
Civil Land Development Technologists work closely with planning staff on the development approval process. Their expertise with technical requirements helps ensure that infrastructure in the Town of Cochrane is designed and installed in accordance with local standards. The department is involved in capital projects, subdivisions, development permits, building permits, shallow utilities, stormwater management and homeowner drainage/grading concerns.
Standards and Guidelines
The Town follows many of the City of Calgary standards and guidelines, along with some specific Town of Cochrane standard documents. The City of Calgary documents are available in the Planning & Development Resource Library. The Town documents are available on the left hand side of the page.
