Seniors’ Week takes place from June 1-7 and is a province-wide celebration of those over 50 in our community.
All events to celebrate this week are being held virtually, so that people can maintain safe, physical distancing. The special week to celebrate our elders begins with a drive-by parade June 1 and continues with online and virtual events and some additional activities that can be enjoyed from home.

Need a little fluff in your life? Meet the St. John Ambulance therapy dogs online while they help us celebrate Seniors’ Week in Cochrane. If you are unable to pick up curbside, fill out an authorized borrower form and let a neighbour or friend pick up your books for you.
The completed form can be:
- Scanned and sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
- Dropped off in an envelope in the book return slot with Attention: Jessie written on the envelope.

Library patrons who want to participate in curbside service will have to put a hold on the books they want, either through the TRACpac website or by phone (403-932-4353). When books are available for pickup, you will receive a phone call with instructions.

Volunteer from Home or in the Community

Our community volunteers are trained in safety precautions around COVID-19. They know how to help while also keeping you safe.
