Victim Services Unit (VSU)
Cochrane and Area Victim Services is a not-for-profit organization that provides crisis response, support and referral services to people who have experienced crime, tragedy and trauma. Additionally, Cochrane and Area Victim Services provides court updates, support, preparation and accompaniment for victims of crime. They provide victims of crime with information about their rights and available programs.

Domestic Violence Support
If you are experiencing domestic violence, or know someone who is, please feel free to reach out to any local police service for help at any time. You can report an incident to the Cochrane RCMP by calling our 24 hour response number at 403-932-2211. School Liaison
The Cochrane RCMP has two officers who specialize in working with our community’s youth and our schools. They act as a liaison between school administrators, parents, and children. They help to address a variety of challenges that youths may face while growing up and learning how to interact with others. The school liaisons can give presentations or provide one-on-one education, and are extremely well equipped to speak on topics such as youth safety, drug and alcohol prevention.
