United Way - Cochrane & Area Partnership

United, we make the biggest difference

Every dollar raised in Cochrane, stays in Cochrane.

We need your help to strengthen social serving organizations who are working tirelessly to meet the needs of our community!

Cochrane Family & Community Support Services (FCSS) and the United Way of Calgary and Area have a formal partnership agreement, whereby United Way provides annual funding and the FCSS Advisory Board members research and assess issues in the community to ensure donations are distributed to local non-profit organizations that provide initiatives and programs that address the social well-being of individuals and families.

Over the last five years the United Way provided over $365,500.00 to local organizations working to address complex issues such as poverty, mental health, social isolation, domestic violence, intergenerational trauma and food security.

As part of our agreement with the United Way, the FCSS Advisory Board is required to raise funds to increase the dollars available to support local groups in our community.
