Seniors on the Bow Gives Back

Our Needle Arts Group regularly donates the items they create to charities like Cochrane Activettes and Calgary Drop In Centre.

We would like to acknowledge ongoing support through grants from:

Town of Cochrane (2010) - Capital investment into Seniors on the Bow Centre in addition to ongoing operational grant to support our lease and seniors programmer position.
Rocky View County (2010) - Capital investment into Seniors on the Bow Centre
MD of Bighorn (2010) - Capital investment into Seniors on the Bow Centre
Bow Rivers Edge Campground Capital Re-Investment Fund (2010) - Sports and recreation equipment purchase (2012)
New Horizons for Seniors Capital Assistance Fund (2011) - Lounge furniture, accessible computer system, fitness accessories and card tables / chairs.
Cochrane Foundation (2011) - Towards our purchase and installation of audio visual equipment; (2018) - Upper Cabinets in the Auditorium
United Way and FCSS (2011) - Operational Support for Initiation Costs of our board; Funding for part-time Administrative Staff for The Board (2012); A Seniors Social Engagement Project & Funding for full-time Administrative Staff for The Board (2018)
Recreation Association of Big Country (2016) - Transportation costs covered for various out-trips
Cochrane Activettes- Contribution towards our Hot lunch program (2014), Transportation vouchers for isolated seniors (2017)
