FCSS & United Way Grant 


This is a partnership between the Town of Cochrane and United Way with one application.

2021 Cochrane Family & Community Support Services (FCSS) and United Way / Cochrane Partnership grant applications are now available. Applications will be accepted until noon on Sep 23, 2020, for the 2021 funding year.

FCSS Mandate: 

Cochrane FCSS gives preference to projects that:

  • are preventative in nature,
  • encourage and support volunteerism and collaboration/partnership, and 
  • address identified community needs.

United Way Mandate: 

United Way funding assists the community through projects that support vulnerable populations. Some examples include programs that:

  • keep residents safe from abuse,
  • assist in developing skills to create healthy futures, or 
  • develop capacity in the community for programs to become sustainable.

Ineligible projects include:

​projects that are strictly for individuals, health, capital projects, education, entrepreneurship, or recreation.
