LOOK FOR ORANGE SIGNS AROUND TOWN!
Cochrane continues to grow, with that growth comes public interest in the various planning and development applications in town.
Residents expect to be informed and made aware of proposals that may affect them, their neighbourhood, or the greater community. Public awareness and transparency of planning applications is an integral part of the planning process. As a result, Development Notification Signs will be posted on properties where a development, infill subdivision, or land use redesignation (rezoning) application has been submitted to the Town.
These signs will:
- let anyone passing by know a planning-related application has been made on the property;
- provide the opportunity to learn more about what is being proposed; and
- provide the opportunity to submit comments to the Town in advance of a decision.
