COVID-19 RESPONSE

Be kind, be considerate, follow public health

The situation with COVID-19 (coronavirus) continues to evolve. The health and well-being of our community is a top priority.

We update local COVID numbers in our FAQ.

PROVINCIAL MANDATORY MASK REQUIREMENT STILL IN EFFECT

Masks-WebCochrane’s Bylaw 20/2020 (Mandatory Face Coverings bylaw) expired on May 1. The Town will instead defer to the provincial mask mandate announced by Alberta Health on December 8, 2020.
During the pandemic, the Town supports and relies on health experts wherever possible. Allowing the provincial mask mandate to prevail aligns with this approach.
For more information on the provincial mask mandate, please visit https://www.alberta.ca/masks.aspx

We want Cochrane to thrive, for businesses to stay open and for our residents to stay healthy. Together, we can help prevent the spread.
