COCHRANE CANADA DAY FESTIVITIES START EARLY JULY 1 AT THE LEGION

Cochrane, AB – Canada Day in Cochrane starts early with a traditional pancake breakfast and so much more.

Residents are encouraged to suit up in red and white and kick off Canada Day at The Royal Canadian Legion, Cochrane Branch which is hosting a toonie pancake breakfast, from 9 am – noon, free for children under 5.

The morning activities include live music, and a flag-raising ceremony at 11 am, followed by complimentary Canada Day cupcakes. Small Canadian flags, pins and stickers will be available from members of Cochrane Council while supplies last.

The fun continues at Mitford Park starting at noon and includes activities for the whole family, live entertainment, games, food trucks, beer gardens and of course fireworks.
