1. Can I come to a Town Council meeting?

Yes, anyone can attend Town Council meetings. Regular Council meetings are held on the second and fourth Monday of each month, except July, August and December, when meetings are held only on the second Monday of the month. Meetings begin at 6 pm. Check for agendas for upcoming meetings which are posted by 3 pm on the Friday before the meeting.

Meetings are held in Council Chambers at the Cochrane RancheHouse, 101 RancheHouse Road.

2. Can I present something at a Council meeting?

To ask to appear before Town Council, or to place an item on a Council meeting agenda, review the Council Delegation Information Sheet and then contact the manager of Legislative Services at 403-851-2500.

3. How do I get in touch with a Council member?

All Council members have their individual email addresses. There is also a main phone number where messages can be left with the executive assistant. See the Town Council page for details.

4. How can I volunteer for a Council committee?

Committee positions are also known as Public-at-Large (PAL) positions and are always advertised when positions become available.

5. How can I make a FOIP request?
