INVITATION TO PROPONENTS

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Town of Cochrane (the “Town”) to to submit non-binding proposals to Design, Supply and Install of Playground Equipment at Matt Krol Park. The “Service” includes the demolition and removal of existing equipment; design, labour, equipment and materials necessary, as further discussed in Appendix A. 

The successful Proponent will be invited to enter into contract negotiations with the Town for the provision of the Service.

The agreement has an anticipated Contract Date as per section 1.3, Table 1 and continue thereafter until the Services are complete, subject to earlier termination as set out in the Agreement.

Introduction

The Town is looking for creative playground designs suitable for ages 1.5 – 12 years, plus an option to submit an additional alternative concept that meets the objectives of the RFP.

Background

The Town has an existing playground at Matt Krol Park. The existing equipment has reached the end of lifecycle and the Town is looking to replace the equipment but maintain the current footprint. Replacement equipment would be geared toward the 1.5 to 12 year old’s group classification.
