    Policies can be a nonprofit/voluntary organization’s best friend or worst enemy, depending on how you develop them. Your organization’s policies can help you prepare for and address difficult or complex situations your organization may face. Developing comprehensive policies creates a strong foundation for a robust volunteer screening program. Learn the basics of policy development and understand how to identify potential risks and liabilities as it relates to volunteer screening. Volunteer Alberta will provide introductory information and instruction on how to use our related resources for a half hour and then stay for another half hour for questions and discussion.
