Town of Cochrane Branches & Banks Community Tree Planting
On Saturday, May 24, you’re invited to join the 27th annual community tree planting event! Hosted by the Cochrane Environmental Action Committee (CEAC) in partnership with the Town of Cochrane, Branches & Banks is a fun and rewarding outing for all ages—whether you come solo or bring along family, friends, neighbours, or co-workers.
We’ll be planting by the west/lower pond in Mitford Park. Over the two days, more than 1,800 trees will be added to our community’s green spaces. Be sure to dress for the weather—the event takes place rain or shine. Don’t forget your gloves, spade, and water bottle to stay comfortable while planting.
This family-friendly event is a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature and give back to the community. We hope to see you there!
