Cochrane is working to reduce noise impacts while maintaining safety in our community. The alarm rebate program supports businesses that switch to quieter backup alarm technology on vehicles and equipment.
This program helps reduce noise from activities such as deliveries, snow removal, property maintenance and construction.
What the program supports
The alarm rebate program encourages businesses to replace traditional tonal backup alarms with broadband-style alarms. Broadband alarms meet safety standards while reducing noise impacts on nearby residents and businesses.
If your business operates vehicles or equipment with backup alarms, you may be eligible for a rebate.
How to apply
To apply:
- complete the alarm rebate application form
- include proof of purchase and installation
