The Calgary Foothills Primary Care Network offers many services to Cochrane residents and physicians, including health classes and chronic disease management. It’s also a great place to start when you’re looking for a family doctor. 

Health Link is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Health Link can provide information on diseases, treatments and wellness by telephone, or help you find appropriate services. Call toll-free at 1-866-408-5465 (LINK). 

Facilities in Cochrane

The Cochrane Community Health Centre is the primary health care facility in Cochrane. Located at 60 Grande Blvd., it offers more than 20 services in one building. Services include an Urgent Care Centre, open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week. Urgent Care provides same-day treatment for unexpected, non-life-threatening health concerns.

Mental health resources

Many resources and services are offered in Cochrane, Calgary and province-wide to support your mental health. The Community Helpers Program in Cochrane aims to promote mental well-being among youth and young adults.

Mental Health Awareness Week 

During Mental Health Week, Cochrane hosts events, classes and workshops that focus on discussing mental health and promoting mental health care. Each year, one in five Canadians experiences a mental illness or mental health issue, but all of us have mental health.  

In 2025, Mental Health Week in Cochrane will run from May 5 to 11.
