Event details
Join us for an illuminating Fireside Chat to learn more about the Métis.
The library is honoured to host Amber Boyd, the District Captain for the Rocky View Métis District of the Otipemisiwak Métis Nation. Amber will share her knowledge and insights on the history and traditions of the Métis people. This is a unique opportunity to listen, learn, and gain a deeper understanding of Métis identity directly from a community leader.
This informal chat will be a great chance to ask questions and engage in a meaningful conversation.
This program is made possible with the generous support of the Government of Alberta through its Ethnocultural Grant Program.
