Join us to celebrate this special day with two distinguished guest speakers achieving incredible things, followed by activities, refreshments and a resource fair. Open to people living with a disability, caregivers and disability allies.
- Rishav Sharma is a Gold Medalist at the Pan Am Para Badminton Championship, professional para-badminton player, part of the Canadian National Team and represented Canada ten times. He also founded the Rocky View Badminton Academy to offer badminton programs to kids in Airdrie, Cochrane and Carstairs.
- Darby Taylor has been a dedicated Special Olympics Calgary athlete for over 19 years, known for his personable nature and role as an Athlete Ambassador for both Special Olympics Alberta and Canada.
