Celebrate the beauty and skill of Indigenous beadwork in this interactive children's workshop led by Kelly Gordon of Alberta Landbased Education. Participants will discover how beadwork reflects creativity, identity, and tradition while learning techniques to create a personalized beaded bookmark. This activity blends artistry with cultural learning, offering a meaningful way to connect with Indigenous heritage.
This program is open to ages 8 and up. It’s an excellent opportunity to develop new skills, express creativity, and gain insight into the stories and traditions carried through beadwork.
