Looking to connect with neighbours, discover local resources, learn what progress has been made as an Age-Friendly community and enjoy a complimentary lunch? We've got just the event for you!
It's been an exciting first year for Cochrane as a designated Age-Friendly community, and there's plenty to celebrate!
Join the Age-Friendly Steering Committee for the 2026 Age-Friendly Report to the Community, where we'll celebrate the progress made over the past year, recognize the people and organizations making it happen and share what's coming next.
It's also a great opportunity for older adults to explore local programs and services, connect with community organizations and discover new ways to stay active, involved and supported in Cochrane.
What's happening?
- 10–11 a.m. | Resource Fair: Meet local organizations and discover programs, activities and services available for older adults. No registration required.
- 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m. | Age-Friendly Report to the Community: Hear about the progress made over the past year and what's next for an age-friendly Cochrane. Registration required.
- 12:30–1:30 p.m. | Complimentary Lunch: Enjoy lunch, catch up with neighbours and make some new connections! Registration required.
Save your seat!
Cochrane residents aged 50 and older are encouraged to attend. The Resource Fair is open for drop-in visits, while registration is required for the presentation and complimentary lunch.
