Thank you to Staples and the Kiwanis Club of Cochrane, along with the community for your generous support of the Backpack Program!
This year (2023) we have been able to help over 200 students with much needed backpacks and school supplies and we continue to offer students the support throughout the school year.
Do you need assistance with school supplies?
A partnership with the Cochrane & Area Family Resource Network (FRN), Staples and the Kiwanis Club of Cochrane aims to ease the stress by providing students K-12 with important back-to-school supplies.
Eligible participants must show proof of enrollment in a Cochrane or West Rocky View County school and provide GST/HST Credit Notice listing dependent children.

FRN Back to School Fair
Thank you to everyone who made the 2023 Back to School Fair in August a huge success, and to the SLS Centre for helping to put this event together!
We had:
- 722 people attend (353 adults and 369 children/youth)
- 31 vendors
Butterfield Acres attended thanks to a generous donation from Cochrane Home Treasures.
