Yes, we have a team of seamstresses that help us make small repairs to our donations as needed. Please note when donating. 

Thank you for considering donating to our initiative! We accept new or gently used, clean and in good repair formal attire of all sizes, including: 

•    Formal dresses and gowns  
•    Formal suits and jackets 
•    Dress shirts and pants 
 

Yes, we accept formal dresses of any length.

Currently, we are not collecting donations of shoes and prom appropriate accessories. 

While we love receiving dresses that have been dry cleaned and ready to go, we have partnered with Dave’s Drycleaners who will be helping us clean and prepare the formal wear once they have been selected by the program participants. 

We are looking for community members willing to volunteer with the donation collection process or the day of the event. If you would like to be involved, make a contribution or volunteer with us, we would love to hear from you.

Donations of graduation-appropriate formal wear are always needed. Your donation will ease financial barriers for families of aspiring graduates in Cochrane and area, providing them with access to formal attire for their High School graduation ceremonies at no cost. Visit our donation-drop off locations above during their opening hours to drop off your donation. 

We also welcome cash donations that would enable us to cover the costs of alterations/seamstress support, purchase clothing items that are rarely donated and cover the costs of equipment and rentals needed for the event. Please see above under the Sponsor section above to learn more about how to donate. 

We ask that interested students submit a form so that we can anticipate the number of people coming to the event. Our initiative is barrier free, and we do not require any proof of eligibility to participate in the program. 

Thank you for thinking of us and contributing to our program. We will be accepting donations from June 15, 2024 – January 31, 2025, for our event taking place on March 1, 2025. You can drop off your donations at any of three locations during opening hours:
