(Cochrane, AB) – The community is invited to join Cochrane Council on Saturday, November 23 to kick off the holiday season. Cochrane Light Up provides residents the opportunity to meet with Council and enjoy a variety of family friendly activities at The Station. 2024 marks the 40th anniversary of Cochrane Light Up, and to celebrate this milestone, trees outside The Station will be lit up and a walkway of lights will be installed between The Station and the Cochrane Crossing.
“We are excited to welcome you all to join us for this incredible milestone as we kick off the holiday season together,” said Mayor Genung, “This event has become a beloved tradition in Cochrane, and we are grateful to the Light Up Committee for all of their hard work and for all of the sponsors. If this is your first year, you’re in for a treat, and if it’s your 40th, welcome back. I am looking forward to our community coming together to enjoy this celebration.”
During the event, residents can meet with Council, warm up with hot chocolate, cozy up by the fire, pick up a glowstick to light up the night, or head inside The Station for more activities.
