Cochrane invites community to capital project information sessions

(Cochrane, AB) – Administration is hosting two information sessions this week, providing the community with the opportunity to learn more about this year's capital construction projects.

The information sessions will be held on:

•    Thursday, April 11, 4 p.m.- 7 p.m. at The Station (360 Railway Street W)
•    Saturday, April 13, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at SLS Centre (800 Griffin Road)

The sessions will feature a comprehensive overview of various projects vital to the development and enhancement of Cochrane's infrastructure. Among the highlighted projects are the 4th Avenue Wall Enhancements, Centre Avenue improvements project, Historic Ranche and Glenbow Pathway Improvements, the Highway 22 to Riverview Syphon project, the Highway 1A/22 Interchange, and the Project Jumpstart initiative, among others.

"Building on the success of last year's event, we are offering two chances for our community to get involved this year. We've scheduled one session in the evening and another on the weekend to make it easier for everyone to join us, ask questions, and dive into what's coming up in Cochrane,” said Drew Hyndman, Executive Director Development & Infrastructure Services, Cochrane.

The information will also be available at the Cochrane Chamber Tradeshow on May 4 and 5 at the SLS Centre. For more information on the 2024 capital projects, visit Cochrane.ca/projects.
