Cochrane is vying for the prestigious title of Kraft Hockeyville, which carries a $250,000 prize and the coveted opportunity to host an NHL pre-season game. Cochrane aims to upgrade the beloved 'Old Barn,' a 50-year-old arena, to enhance facilities and create more opportunities for Cochrane and surrounding communities.
Public voting will be open on March 29 and 30, providing an opportunity for everyone to contribute to Cochrane's success in the Kraft Hockeyville competition. The Jack Tennant Memorial Bridge and The Station lights will remain illuminated in red until March 31, marking the conclusion of the voting period.
