Cochrane, Alberta – The Town of Cochrane invites residents to kick off the holiday season at this year’s Cochrane Light Up on Saturday, November 29, from 4:30–7:30 p.m. Celebrate the magic of the season as Historic Downtown and The Station at Cochrane Crossing are transformed with twinkling lights, festive activities and community spirit.
Residents can enjoy hot chocolate and hot dogs, warm up by the fires and collect glow sticks to help illuminate the evening. Attendees are encouraged to bring reusable mugs to support waste-reduction efforts.
Event highlights:
- Dazzling lights: Historic Downtown and The Station will glow with vibrant festive displays, thanks to support from sponsors, including Winducks, First Light Automation, Our Electricia and a dedicated team of volunteers.
- Live entertainment: Enjoy performances for all ages throughout the evening.
- Photos with Santa: With a food bank donation, families can snap a special holiday photo with Santa.
- Family-friendly activities: From hayrides to holiday ornament–decorating and craft stations inside The Station, there’s something for everyone.
- Meet Council: Stop by The Station to connect with Council and pick up hot chocolate and glow sticks to help light up the night.
