Council Invites Nominations For Order Of Cochrane

(Cochrane, AB) – Nominations are now open for the 2022 Order of Cochrane, the highest honour that can be bestowed upon an individual by Cochrane Council. 

The annual award is presented by Mayor and Council to an individual who, by their commitment, vision and leadership has created a lasting legacy in the development of our community. 

“It is important to recognize residents whose passion and positive contributions have remained unwavering year-after-year and who are tireless in making an impactful contribution,” says Mayor Jeff Genung. “Cochrane’s ongoing success is due in no small part to our community’s tireless advocates.”

Nominating is easy. Nominators must complete an online or hardcopy nomination form describing how the nominee exemplifies the Cochrane’s vision*, demonstrates leadership and identifies what the nominee has done to create a lasting legacy in the development of our community. The deadline to nominate is Friday, December 2, 2022.  To nominate please follow visit the Order of Cochrane page.

The award will be presented at a meeting of Cochrane Council in 2023.
