(Cochrane, AB) – Cochrane is excited to announce its participation in the upcoming 2024 Cochrane Chamber Trade Show at the SLS Centre on May 4 and 5, inviting the public to connect with Council and staff while learning about Cochrane's exciting projects and initiatives.

This trade show serves as an opportunity for residents to engage directly with their local government, providing a platform for meaningful dialogue and feedback.

"We've experienced so much activity in Cochrane over the past couple of years, and there's plenty to share and discuss," said Mayor Jeff Genung. "We look forward to the tradeshow every year for the opportunity to connect directly with the community, listen to their feedback and share information."

Attendees can expect to receive updates on key community initiatives including drought management, mental health, public safety, and emergency management, alongside information about the Colt Transit Study, ongoing advocacy efforts, and the exciting capital projects planned for this year, such as the Historic Ranche and Glenbow Trail improvement project.

Additionally, residents will have an opportunity to weigh in on next year’s operating budget by filling out Cochrane’s 2025-2027 budget survey.

Residents are encouraged to join at the SLS Centre on May 4 and 5 to connect, engage and have a great time while contributing to Cochrane’s progress and development.
