Cochrane, AB – Join us for a community celebration and ribbon-cutting event to mark the official opening of Cochrane's new Protective Services Building. The event takes place on Saturday, July 15, from 11 am to 2 pm. Speeches and ribbon cutting at 11 am.
This family-friendly outdoor celebration features displays of vehicles and equipment, including a showcase of historical memorabilia from the Cochrane RCMP. The Canine Unit will be present, offering demonstrations that showcase their impressive skills. Attendees are also welcome to view the public-facing areas of the facility.
Meet with members of Cochrane RCMP and Municipal Enforcement. Visit information displays hosted by partner agencies of protective services who will provide valuable insights into their community-based initiatives. Displays by: Cochrane & Area Victim Services, Cochrane Search and Rescue, Cochrane Citizens on Patrol and Cochrane Foothills/Crime Watch Association.
As attendees enjoy the festivities, refreshments and treats will be available while supplies last. The outdoor event takes place rain or shine. Parking is limited to nearby street parking, please walk, bike or ride COLT.
