(Cochrane, AB) - The Town of Cochrane is inviting residents to share feedback on the Cochrane App to help shape future improvements and make it easier to access local information and services.
Since its launch, the app has become an important way for residents to access Town news, service updates and community information all in one place. As the app continues to evolve, the Town is seeking input to better understand how residents use it, what is working well and where improvements could be made.
“Strong communication starts with listening,” says Kristin Huybrecht, Manager, Corporate Communications. “This feedback will directly shape how the Cochrane App grows and improves, ensuring it reflects the needs, expectations and day-to-day experiences of our residents.”
Residents are encouraged to complete a short online survey. Their input will help identify which features are most useful, where improvements could be made and what may prevent some residents from downloading or regularly using the app. The feedback will guide future updates, helping keep the app relevant, accessible and easy to use.
In addition to the online survey, the Town will gather feedback through interviews with a small group of residents and a review of app usage trends. This approach will provide a broader understanding of user experience and help identify practical opportunities for improvement.
A summary of public input will be shared on cochrane.ca following the engagement period, including key themes, what was heard and how the feedback will be used. Findings will be shared in Fall 2026.
