(Cochrane, AB) – Cochrane Small Business Week returns October 20–24, 2025, celebrating the spirit, innovation and resilience of the entrepreneurs who help shape our community.
Small business week features over 22 events, including panels, workshops, networking sessions and speakers focused on leadership, marketing, innovation and the future of business. Events are hosted at The Station at Cochrane Crossing (360 Railway St. W.), with select sessions taking place at local venues across town. Cochrane entrepreneurs and local small business owners are encouraged to attend and come together for five days of connection, learning and celebration.
During Small Business Week, the Town of Cochrane will host the Cochrane Business Incubator Open House on Thursday, October 23 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The open house invites all residents to discover Economic Development’s incubator programming, aimed at better equipping business owners with tools and mentorship so they can build and grow strong, sustainable businesses. Economic Development will also present their roadmap for developing the Economic Development strategy on Friday, October 24 at 9 a.m.
The week concludes on Friday, October 24, with the first annual Cochrane & District Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards Gala to celebrate the innovation, resilience and community spirit that define Cochrane’s business landscape. Hosted at Cochrane Lions Event Centre, the evening invites all residents to enjoy dinner, awards and entertainment.
