(Cochrane, AB) – The Town of Cochrane presented its draft 2026 budget at the November 3 Committee of the Whole meeting. The proposed budget outlines how the Town plans to maintain essential services, support a growing community and invest in Cochrane’s long-term sustainability.
Residents are invited to review the draft budget online and share feedback in the online survey with Council before budget deliberations begin later in November. All feedback collected in-person and online will be shared with Council before budget deliberations begin on November 17.
In-person public engagement:
In-person information sessions at SLS Centre located at 800 Griffin Rd. E. Drop in to review budget highlights, ask questions, and chat with Town staff.
- Friday, Nov. 14: 4 – 8 p.m.
- Saturday, Nov. 15: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Online engagement:
Visit LetsTalkCochrane.ca to learn more and to fill out the survey to share your thoughts. The final day to provide feedback is November 16 by 5 p.m.
