(Cochrane, AB) Thank you to everyone who joined us at Mitford Park for Cochrane's Canada Day celebration.
Thousands of residents and visitors came together on July 1 for an afternoon and evening of live music, family-friendly activities, local food vendors and a spectacular fireworks finale. From the main stage performances and children's entertainment to interactive activities, community connections and shared celebrations, Mitford Park was filled with energy, excitement and Canadian pride throughout the day.
This year's event featured live entertainment throughout the day, a variety of family activities, local food trucks, a licensed beer garden and a fireworks show that capped off Cochrane's largest annual community celebration. New additions, including the Children's Theatre Stage, helped create even more opportunities for residents of all ages to participate and connect.
Now we'd like to hear from you. Community feedback helps us understand what worked well and where improvements can be made for future Canada Day celebrations.
Whether you attended for the live entertainment, activities, food vendors, fireworks or simply to spend time with family and friends, we want to know about your experience. Take a few minutes to complete our Canada Day 2026 survey and help shape future celebrations at Mitford Park.
Take the survey: https://www.letstalkcochrane.ca/canada-day-2026-survey
Survey participants who choose to provide their email address at the end of the survey will be entered into a random prize draw.
Thank you for helping make Canada Day 2026 a memorable celebration. We look forward to hearing your feedback and continuing to create community events that bring Cochrane together.
