Paul Sullivan is a seasoned technology entrepreneur, having founded, built and led a number of successful ventures in both Canada and the US. His first startup, a bootstrapped software firm, grew to over 30 employees with offices in Calgary, Toronto and Vancouver and was acquired by a public company. Following that, he was hired as CEO to turn around a struggling startup, growing the company from 20 to 250 employees, culminating in an IPO on the TSX that raised $44MM and generated a 20x return for investors. Paul then spent seven years in the US, as a fractional business leader and consultant. Now mostly retired, he sits on a number of boards, and chairs the Venture Mentoring Society of Alberta, a volunteer organization providing leadership coaching to scale-up founders.
