Cochrane Light Up

Celebrating 41 years

Cochrane Light Up has been a beloved family tradition and a special way for businesses to connect with the community. In partnership with local businesses, Cochrane encourages attendees to reduce waste by bringing reusable cups or purchasing one from vendors for their hot chocolate.

Event highlights

  • Dazzling lights: Historic Downtown and The Station will glow with vibrant festive displays, thanks to support from sponsors, including Winducks, First Light Automation, Our Electricia and a dedicated team of volunteers.
  • Live entertainment: Enjoy performances for all ages throughout the evening.
  • Photos with Santa: With a food bank donation, families can snap a special holiday photo with Santa.
  • Family-friendly activities: From hayrides to holiday ornament–decorating and craft stations inside The Station, there’s something for everyone.
  • Meet Council: Stop by The Station to connect with Council and pick up hot chocolate and glow sticks to help light up the night.

Celebrate with Council at The Station

Join us at The Station to connect with Council, enjoy a cozy cup of hot chocolate, gather around the fire, pick up a glow stick to light up the night, and explore the fun activities inside.
