Cochrane And Area Family Resource Network (FRN) Presents Annual Back To School Fair On August 26

(Cochrane, AB) – The Cochrane and Area Family Resource Network (FRN) is thrilled to announce its much-anticipated Back to School Fair on August 26, from 10 am to 2 pm, located at the Spray Lake Sawmills Centre, 800 Griffin Rd E. This free, family-friendly event presents an exceptional chance for residents to explore a wide spectrum of services and support available to K-12 students and parents in Cochrane. 

In partnership with the SLS Centre, the Back to School Fair will showcase a diverse selection of local agencies, programs and resources for a successful and enriching school year. Highlights of the event include: 

  • Conversations with local agencies and programs tailored to enhance students' academic journey and family well-being.  
  • Interactive activities for all ages, including life-size games, balloon animals, glitter tattoos and a back-to-school photo booth.  
  • Special appearance by Butterfield Acres from 11 am to 1 pm (sponsored by Cochrane Home Treasures).  
  • Encouragement for children and youth to dress up as their favorite storybook characters, adding an extra layer of excitement.
