(Cochrane, AB) – The Town of Cochrane is inviting residents to come together and make the most of summer with the return of the Block Party Trailer for the 2026 season.
Available now through to October 2026, the free-to-book trailer is equipped with everything needed to host a great neighbourhood gathering - from tables, chairs and outdoor games to a cooking griddle, signage and easy-to-use planning resources. Important for residents to note is that, while the trailer itself is free to book, you will be required to purchase event insurance and pay a fully refundable $50 deposit.
More than just event equipment, the Block Party Trailer is designed to spark connection. Whether it’s a casual get-together, a street celebration or an opportunity to meet new neighbours, the program makes it simple for residents to create meaningful moments close to home.

Residents of all ages and backgrounds can take advantage of this community resource to create inclusive, welcoming spaces where neighbours can gather and celebrate.
Bookings are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The trailer must be booked by residents 18 and older.
