The Town of Cochrane is hiring election workers to support the 2025 Municipal Election. These temporary positions offer a meaningful way to contribute to your community while supporting the democratic process.

Election workers will be scheduled between October 10 and 24, 2025, to assist with advance voting, Election Day and post-election ballot counting. Positions include tasks such as setting up and closing voting stations, assisting voters, providing information and counting ballots.

Key availability for workers includes: 

  • Mandatory training: Friday, October 10, 2025
  • Advance voting: October 11, 14, 16 and 18, 2025
  • Election day: Monday, October 20, 2025
  • Ballot counting: October 21–24, 2025

Election workers are paid $33.17 per hour. All applicants must be at least 16 years of age or older and legally entitled to work in Canada. No prior election experience is required; training will be provided.
