Foothills Fetal Alcohol Society (FFAS)

We are here to support children, youth, adults and families living with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. We provide caregiver, pregnancy and addictions support. Our mission is to enhance capacity for the prevention of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and for the provision of care and support to rural communities surrounding Calgary.  

Helping Hands Society of Cochrane and Area

A volunteer organization aiding those in need within the community, including food support and help for vulnerable populations.

A registered Canadian charity assisting impoverished community members in a respectful, confidential manner with basic food and hygiene supplies.

Outlink

Calgary Outlink is a community-based, not-for-profit charity dedicated to providing support, education, outreach and referrals for the @SLGBTQIA+ and allied communities in Calgary. 

Right Hand Support (RHS)

Provides accessible counselling and a trauma-informed volunteer mentor program taught by professional counsellors. The program is non-proselytizing, meeting the needs of mentees by walking together, listening without judgement and with compassion and respect.

Rocky View Immigrant Services (RVIS)

A project of CCIS Providing Newcomers/Immigrants and Refugees with services to support settlement and integration in Cochrane and area since 2010.  Comprehensive services including Group Sessions & Workshops, Settlement Worker in Schools and Youth Programming.

Rocky View Regional Handi Bus Society

Has provided wheelchair-accessible community transit to the Cochrane region since 2010. The Rocky View Bus program provides a basic transportation access community supports and services, enabling residents to reduce isolation and foster independence in their own home.

Rocky View-Wheatland Local Immigration Partnership (RVWLIP)

is dedicated to improving the experience of settlement and integration for immigrants and to creating a more welcoming and inclusive Rocky View and Wheatland region.

The Nina Project

Became a registered society in 2022 to help meet the unmet mental health needs of today's youth. Our first project is first aid kits for you who self harm. We provide them at no cost to youth, caregivers and workplaces/groups that work with youth.

Wazin Îchinabi T (House of Oneness)

Weaves culture, education, wellness and empowerment into a space for reconciliation, acceptance and well-being for the community. 

Bike Cochrane

Mission is to serve Cochrane through the promotion of and advocacy for, cycling in the community. 

Bow Valley Rugby Club (All Programs)

Coaching philosophy for all age groups is game based with an emphasis on personal development and what we call ‘Fundamental Team Identity’.

A non-profit that provides leadership in the promotion of cycling, enhancing the sport and community of BMX racing our region.

Cochrane Indoor Pickleball Association

An indoor pickleball society club, playing currently at Spray Lakes Sports Center during the months from September thru May of each year.

Organizes the Cochrane Lions Rodeo and other events that draw large community participation.

Cochrane Paddlers Club

The Cochrane Paddlers Club is all about celebrating our beautiful back yard Bow River, which runs right through the heart of our little town.
Our goal is to get folks of all sorts out on the water in a safe and fun way through trips, events, pool sessions, and education.

Focusing on the Ghost Lake Dam to Bearspaw Reservoir section, we aim to share accessibility details, river safety and knowledge, best practices, and skill building sessions. We also host flatwater drop in sessions at Ghost Lake, and pool sessions at Spray Lakes Centre in the winter.
