(Cochrane, AB) - As fall brings a change of season, it can also be a great time to make water-wise changes around your home and yard.

The Town of Cochrane’s Water Conservation Rebate Program helps residents reduce their water use by providing rebates on eligible water-saving upgrades. From changes to your landscaping to more efficient fixtures and appliances inside your home, the program makes it easier to choose options that can conserve water and save money.

Eligible purchases include rain barrels, lawn alternatives, wood mulch, fescue sod, high-efficiency toilets and washing machines.

Water conservation is important year-round. Making water-wise improvements at home can help reduce demand on Cochrane’s water supply while providing residents with lasting benefits, including lower water use and potential savings on utility costs.

Fall is also an opportunity to look ahead. Whether you’re making changes to your yard before winter, planning next year’s landscaping or considering an upgrade inside your home, residents are encouraged to explore the available rebates and eligibility requirements before making a purchase.

Rebates are available for eligible purchases while program funding remains available.

Small changes can make a difference. Save water, save money and make every drop count.
