Hello community of Cochrane,

We are reaching out on behalf of our dear friend, Lisa. If you’ve met Lisa, you know how kind and selfless she is—always helping others, always smiling through the pain. But behind that smile is someone who’s been silently suffering for years. But now, Lisa needs the community’s help.

Lisa has endured over 15 surgeries, a rare nerve disorder, and more than 10 traumatic concussions. Her brain is so sensitive now that even a small movement can cause another injury. These health battles have taken everything—her ability to work, her independence, and so much of her life.

Lisa and her husband Joey have exhausted all their resources—savings, insurance, and family support. Lisa now requires specialized treatments that are not covered by healthcare.

We’re holding a fundraiser on Saturday, June 14th, from 6:30 to 10 PM at The Texas Gate in Cochrane. Online and physical tickets are $20. There’ll be prizes, connection, and a chance to make a difference.

Welcome to the Year-End Round-Up & Art Auction Fundraiser, presented by Route 22 Artist Collective Gallery and Come Paint Alberta!
All art enthusiasts and artists are welcome to join our Year-End Round-Up!
***Please note that only plein air artists who have participated in the Come Paint Alberta plein air paint-out events over the spring/summer/fall of 2024 can submit their plein air artwork to the Year-End Round-Up Art Auction.
***Art Auction Commission Rate: please note that the artists commission, after the Hammer Price, is 60%. The remainder commission of 20% will go towards Route 22 Gallery, and 20% towards Come Paint Alberta. These funds will help go towards building future programming!
The participating organizations under the Come Paint Alberta umbrella are: the Coutts Centre; Rosebud Paint Out Weekend; Whyte Museum Paint-out; Leighton Art Centre Paint the Foothills; and the Route 22 Gallery Art in the Park.
