Visit the Cochrane Public Library for a special Saturday Storytime with local author, Leslie Davies!

Words are Leslie’s passion! Whether it be fiction, non-fiction, academic treatises, or children’s picture books – it really doesn’t matter because she simply loves to write! Her delight in words is clearly evident in her playful children’s books which are all vibrantly illustrated by the incomparable Miguel A. Gonzalez (Spain), with beautiful graphic design by Patricia Gasca (Mexico).

Please note this is a drop-in program and seats will be available on a first come, first served basis! Arrive early to guarantee a spot for you and your family!

Water accumulating on the street? 

You may be located near a trap low. Trap lows are a part of the stormwater storage system, allowing water to pool on roads, lanes and in greenspaces.

It may appear that the street is flooding up to and, sometimes, including some of your driveway or lawn. It is not.

If the water does not drain within 24 hours after rainfall, please contact Cochrane Operations at 403-851-2590.
