Winter Drama registration is now open! Join us for an exciting term of drama classes for ages 8 through 12 at Sleeping Giants Theatre!

Who is drama for? Anyone who loves making up stories, creating fun characters, and playing in imaginary worlds with new friends!

Every class, we play fun drama games to build our ensemble and teamwork skills while developing our acting skills at the same time. We also work on body and voice techniques to build presence and confidence on stage through fun exercises. And throughout the term, we work together to create a brand new original play to present at the end of the semester!

The Cochrane Eco Centre is a self-sorting drop-off facility where residents can bring small amounts of recyclables and household waste. The facility accepts a wide range of materials to help reduce landfill use and support responsible waste management. 

For large loads please use facilities such as ECCO, City of Calgary landfills and more.

Water accumulating on the street? 

You may be located near a trap low. Trap lows are a part of the stormwater storage system, allowing water to pool on roads, lanes and in greenspaces.

It may appear that the street is flooding up to and, sometimes, including some of your driveway or lawn. It is not.

If the water does not drain within 24 hours after rainfall, please contact Cochrane Operations at 403-851-2590.
