Centennial Park Playground Resurface

Through a partnership with Variety of Alberta Children’s Charity, the east section of the Centennial Park playground was upgraded to be completely inclusive. 

This included replacing the existing playground equipment with updated, accessible equipment and replacing the outdated rubber surface.

BACKGROUND

This is the second partnership venture with Variety Charities of Alberta. In 2018 the east portion of the playground was updated through a similar project, outdated equipment was replaced with new accessible, inclusive play equipment. 

The playground continues to be a destination park for residents of Cochrane and has proven to be a popular stop for families with children of varying ages.  

BUDGET

Resurfacing: $85,000
