Cochrane Ranche Historic Site

The Historic Cochrane Ranche site is the original site of Senator Matthew Henry Cochrane’s ranch, established in 1881. The public park is approximately 55 hectares and has seasonal washrooms, picnic tables, an outdoor stage and three firepits that are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cochrane RancheHouse Event Centre

The Cochrane RancheHouse is home to a full-service Event centre, Cochrane Council chambers and administration offices, mayor and council offices, council chambers and the Stockmens Memorial Foundation Library and Archives .

The Cochrane RancheHouse Event Centre offers flexible meeting spaces, a beautiful outdoor courtyard for groups from two to 200 people. The RancheHouse annually hosts everything from concerts, markets, galas, weddings to corporate functions.

Join Route 22 Artist Collective to unleash your creativity in this 1-hour creative collage session, participants will use words and images to craft a personalized response to a shared theme relevant to Small Business Week. Each will then briefly share their reflections, promoting new perspectives and mutual respect. The final product will be a unique visual piece to keep as a personal or professional memento.

Water accumulating on the street? 

You may be located near a trap low. Trap lows are a part of the stormwater storage system, allowing water to pool on roads, lanes and in greenspaces.

It may appear that the street is flooding up to and, sometimes, including some of your driveway or lawn. It is not.

If the water does not drain within 24 hours after rainfall, please contact Cochrane Operations at 403-851-2590.
