In this session, Michelle Wiebe will not only touch on the basics of documenting your work but also share what organizations are looking for in portfolio submissions that go beyond image quality.

Let your creativity shine as you learn different techniques for decorating candles. We will demonstrate how to decoupage, paint and wrap pillar candles with a variety of materials. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned crafter, this event is perfect for anyone looking to add a personal touch to their space. Come mingle with fellow candle enthusiasts and leave with some beautiful custom candles to enjoy at home. Don't miss out on this opportunity to unleash your artistic side!
All supplies included, but you are also encouraged to bring any plain pillar candles of your own to decorate!
About our organization:
The Collective has established an elevated, multi-discipline visual arts gallery–operated by its dedicated members of the Route 22 Artist Collective Ltd. Behind the gallery display space is an Arts Makerspace intended to provide arts programming for all ages. The arts play a huge role in building healthy communities and maintaining mental wellness. The Covid-19 crisis has brought this to the forefront and further illuminated the importance of art in helping people cope in the current difficult times. The arts connect, nourish and sustain us on a fundamental human level.

This exhibition is showing from March 23 to April 19, 2026.
